			Solved within one day by support. Looks like there was some hidden corruption in my mail folders that only became apparent after the upgrade. <br />

			It starts, thebat.exe appears in Task Manager and then disappears. End of story. Totally reproduceable, again and again. <br />

			Dear all,<br /><br />Installation of v5 yesterday was a terrible failure. During the installation I got two errors, which I believe were memory access violations. Once I tried to launch the app, the new splash screen would appear and disappear, but nothing would happen after that. Restarting didn't help. Removing The Bat 4 entirely and reinstalling The Bat 5 didn't help. I was forced to go back to v4.<br /><br />Has v5 even been tested on Windows 7 (64-bit)? <br />
