Roelof,

Once again, thank you for a very prompt response.

I have to say, you may not be an employee of RitLabs, but your are definitely an outstanding Ambassador for them. I for one am very appreciative of the fact that you are so very knowledgeable about TheBat!, and more importantly, you are always there to help out.

Thank you,
Ron Bernier
Woonsocket, RI
I don't think that's possible.

However, when you're doing this so often that it bothers you to confirm it, you could do it automatically on exit.
You can empty the trash automatically on exit via:
Account -> Properties -> Options -> Empty trash folder on exit
Or you can do it by setting the folder properties, this works for all folders and it's the only way to do it for the junk folder:
Select your folder and then via the menu:
Folder -> Properties -> Max number of stored messages
and select both On exit: 'Remove old messages' and 'Compress the folder'
Is there any way to turn off the confirmation request when you empty the trash or junk folders. If I decide to empty the folders, I'm pretty sure I know what I am doing and would prefer not having to confirm my decision to empty the folders every time.

TIA
Ron Bernier
Woonsocket, RI
