What's new in The Bat! v9.3.4 since v9.3.3 released on January 28, 2021?

[+] (#0002099) it is now possible to use %CLIPBOARD="..." macro to change clipboard contents as well as with the (pre-existed) %SetCLIPBOARD="..." macro
[*] Restore Exception logging, keep exception log file size below 500 Kb
[*] Remove MAPI protocol from the New Account dialog
[-] (#002107) The Del key was not functional for message undelete when browsing deleted messages
[-] Possible crash when messages were containing empty/missing attachments
[-] OK button was not functional in the "no plug-ins installed" warning
[-] Opening some malformed links from HTML viewer could cause AV errors

This is a feature, as I understand. Default color group needs to be in automatic colors because TB! have themes.

I've found out the cause. There's a bug. It only works if you define a new color group; Editing the color group does nothing for the account tree; that one only works for the message list.

With a newly defined color group it works. Thank you for your help!

It works fine here. I've defined a color group (the way I explained above), then assigned it to an account. The account name lights up as soon as I make one message in one of its folders 'unread'.

When you right-click on an account, it has a color groups option too. I'd say give it a try..

But what if my account contains thousands of folders? I literally have a separate folder for each client. Can't this be done on a per-account basis?

Loek:

Right-click on a folder in the account tree and choose Color Group | Manage Color Groups.
Make a new group 'Test' and go to the second tab, Colors & Styles.
Set the 'Item' pull-down menu to Unread
Set the Font to Bold and Underlined, and the background color to bright green.
Press OK twice to go back to reading mail.
Make sure you have at least 1 unread message in that folder.
The folder name should now hurt your eyes. If it does, you now know how to proceed.

There is no such feature.
I do use virtual folder that watch all folders for unread messages.

Support contacted about the quote background color.

As for the above: the color group doesn't get propagated to the account tree. I'm using it for unread messages alone. Maybe it doesn't work for that?

This is bug. Please do report to support. I do to switch to white-theme if needs to write HTML-letter. It annoying.

Something else I'm missing: highlighting folders with new messages in the account tree. They now just become bold, but that alone makes it hard to see. It is possible to set a color for this in the messages view using color groups, but it's not possible in the account tree.

Is there a way to set the background color of quoted text? When I pick Choco Dark, the quoted text becomes dark text on a dark background. In replies, I just want everything to have a white background, including quoted text.
