I don't think that can be done (except perhaps through a complicated set of actions that would export the message and edit it through an external action).

A programmer might be able to write a plug-in that does this, using the published plug-in specifications.

Is it possible, using Sorting Office/filters  to change the subject of a received email?

I receive lots of replies to emails with the subject set as e.g. 'RE: [EXTERNAL] Re: Sign Off System Speed' - I want to be able to strip 'RE: [EXTERNAL] ' out of the subject.

If it can be done I'd be very appreciative if someone could give simple instructions as to how to do this.
