Question here not about OS default email client. Question here about button in the MS Office 2016 "send email". MS Office apps likes to think that only Outlook is email-client and no more other.

In new versions, you can not change it like that.

Anyway for all the friends, the solution is:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Clients\mail > (Default) value = The Bat!
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail > (Default) Value = The Bat!

This is known bug with Office 2016 x64. As user write in this thread with x32 Office 2016 there is no bug. On my Office 2019/365 there is no this bug too.

I don't think so that Ritlabs will try to analyse this bug with old version of MS Office.

Hello, Recently i had to reinstall all from the start , Windows 10, Office 2019... Before everything were working with The Bat! ok. Now even that i tried from the default programs, default protocol.... always but always when i try to send from excel or other programs the system uses one Outlook 2016.
I check registry , i reinstall office... nothing.


Has anyone in  the past same problems?
