			The installer failing to remove an older version of TB has been a running problem for a while now, resulting in all sorts of issues. Now we have a new one on the list, as I don&#39;t remember anyone reporting the effect you had. Thanks for sharing your experience, and let&#39;s hope TB serves you well for years to come.<br /><br />And yes, the no-update version is the way to go currently, as the auto-updater still seems to be unreliable. <br />

			In following your directions, I performed a backup and uninstalled TB. During uninstall I saw two versions of TB, including the latest one. Apparently the old version was not removed nor were the shortcut links updated when I tried to update. Regardless, I uninstalled both versions, rebooted then installed the latest version without auto-updates and all is fine with the latest version now running. I didn't need to restore files either which was nice.<br /><br />Thanks so much for your help in resolving my problem! Have a good day! <br />

			I&#39;ve never had such a problem, but what I would do would be to back up all e-mails, uninstall TB, install the new version, and restore.<br /><br />In practice, restoring involves little more than creating accounts again and pointing them to the existing TB data folder, after which TB loads all existing account data and continues as before. <br />

			Nothing stops me fr om downloading there as that is wh ere I tried to download and install the latest version 10.2.1. As I said in my first post: "I tried downloading the latest version and installing, but it won't update and still says version 10.0.3." <br />

			TheBat says I'm up to date, but selecting help &gt; about notes I am running version 10.0.3. I tried downloading the latest version and installing, but it won't update and still says version 10.0.3. Has anyone faced such an issue and found a resolution? <br />
