09 June 2025 - The Bat! v11.4.2.1 Released with Improved Stability and User Experience

We have released the new version of The Bat!, introducing a range of improvements to enhance stability, usability, and performance for its users.

This release features an updated Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF), which ensures better rendering of HTML content. Users working with dark themes will also notice refinements to the classic HTML message preview pane, offering a more consistent and visually comfortable experience.

In addition to interface enhancements, v11.4.2.1 addresses several program errors. Issues affecting the Calendar’s handling of system time zones have been resolved, and the program now displays specific IMAP folder names more accurately. The update also includes fixes for access violation errors, which occurred when opening particular attachments or using specific characters in the PureHTML editor.

The update continues our commitment to delivering a secure and reliable email experience for power users.

• CEF was updated to v136
  
• Account's name is now displayed in brackets in the title of the "Re-filter mail of" window
  
• Classic preview pane for HTML messages in dark themes was updated
  

Fixes

• The issue which prevented the program to take into account system's time zone for the current time in the Calendar was resolved
  
• Access Violation error on viewing the contents of certain XLS(x) attachments was fixed
  
• Access Violation error on typing '.' as the first character in PureHTML editor was fixed
  
• IMAP folders with names starting with the "[" character are now listed with proper names
  
• IMAP folders with only numbers in very long names are now visible in the Folder Manager
  
• Ctrl+U in the Conversation View was opening HTML source code
