Resetting the User Interface Back to the Default

How can I reset interface to the default (view and bars) and - if necessary - go back to the previous one without having to set everything up from scratch? Thanks.

You can use the /reg:somearbitraryprofilename command-line option. It will run TB with a fresh set of registry keys, so the interface will be reset to the default. However, you will need to set up the accounts again. But once you do that, running TB with or without the /reg will allow you to switch easily, and you can make separate shortcuts.

(Replace "somearbitraryprofilename" with any name you like. You can make multiple profiles like that.)

Thanks, but this is not I'm looking for. I just want to reset interface with option to revert it. Anyone?

I think you can delete (well, rename) TBUSER.DEF in your Mail folder, and The Bat will recreate a new copy of this file with default settings when you next launch The Bat. Please give that a try, and if it should not work, just exit the program and restore the file to its previous state.

For descriptions of the various files used by The Bat, see:

(the listings are rather old, but I believe most files mentioned haven't changed much).

I've already tried this before asking here, but thanks. This works only for toolbars.
