The Bat! is Invulnerable to BadWinmail Flaw

Security Intelligence, the source of the latest security analysis and insight from top IT security experts, published an article warning users of a security vulnerability existing in email programs.

In "Xmas Hit List: Three Security Vulnerabilities Unwrap Critical Risks", the author refers to the BadWinmail flaw as a letterbomb exploit and "The Enterprise Killer".

Ritlabs, SRL has come out with a statement affirming that The Bat! Email Client is not affected by this vulnerability. Our email application does not automatically execute scripts nor attached files, it always warns users of suspicious file extensions and even blocks the opening of files with certain extensions.

With The Bat! email program, users can safely open all incoming emails.
