The Bat is an internet e-mail program, with an easy to use interface, and it provides an efficient way of working with large message flows, multiple e-mail accounts, various languages, and many features. The Bat has been designed mainly for business messaging, so it doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles you will find with entertainment.
It is a browser independent mail viewer, with 32 bit multi threading, several filters and macros, including the capability to run mailing lists, Quick Template, which allows you to save time by adding blocks of text with just one keystroke, multiple accounts that can be changed on the fly, spellchecker, address books, with macro defined templates for each contact, 10 languages, a scrolling "ticker tape" type showing you your new messages, and much much more.
It can import your messages with the built in import wizard from: Microsoft Outlook Express, Netscape Communicator, Netscape Mail, Eudora Lite/Pro, and Pegasus Mail. You can encrypt your mail also.
So if you're more concerned with whether or not you can send 100 copies of something to a mailing list, than animated goodies, check this program out, it just might be for you.
