Headers too large, Returned error from google mail server

Hi to all.
I have a little problem.
I have a gmail account on the bat that automatically redirect a mail received  trough gmail server to another email address ;
every time i receive 552 5.6.0 Headers too large and the mail is rejected fr om gmail server. Lim it is 32768 byte
This happens about three days ago.
Is there a way to reduce the headers on redirect?
Version of "The Bat" 11.

Some random thoughts:

1) This is just a user-to-user forum and you may get a better answer sooner if you talk directly to Ritlabs (use the Support menu at the top of this page).

2) Have you examined the headers to see wh ere the excessive data is coming from?

3) Could it be that your messages end up in a loop (two hosts keep bouncing messages back and forth, each time making the headers longer).

4) Is one of the mail servers applying an anti-spam filter that may be putting way too much information in the headers?

If I understand correctly, you have TB set up to automatically redirect all GMail messages?

If this is correct and TB is causing the header size problems, it is easily avoidable. Have GMail itself redirect the messages. I have this set up for more than 15 years, never had a problem.

Go to GMail full Settings -> Forwarding and POP/IMAP. (Google calls it "Forwarding", but it's actually redirecting.)

Hi Milos. It could be an idea. I tell Gmail to send a copy to the final recipient and one is left with me.

Interesting problem overall. I did some research, it seems that the RFC standard does not impose any restrictions on header size, but GMail does, which is well documented here: https://support.google.com/a/answer/14016360?hl=en

I hope the workaround does the trick.

I'd love to know what kind of data is hidden in a 32KB header. It sounds terribly excessive.
