5.0.8 Bad Behavior

Since installation, have noticed:

1. Extremely slow loading. TheBat! loads as part of boot processing, Vista. Often requires ~8 minutes to loat to getting messages. This is entirely NEW behavior.

2. The Connection Center log remains empty.

3. When sending MAPI-launched e-mail, receive the following error:
Exception ECriticalSectionsLeak in module TBMapi.dll at 000116F5
Mail is dispatched OK.

I've noticed a slow loading of messages, myself - but man . . . . . . . 8 minutes is a darn looooong time.

If you are getting real slow loading try cleaning out the cache and imgfiles folders
I assume you are also running the maintenance center on a regular basis too

I have a batch file that I use with these lines:
del /Q "C:\Documents and Settings\Rick\Application Data\The Bat!\cache\*.*
del /Q "C:\Documents and Settings\Rick\Application Data\The Bat!\imgfiles\*.*

You have to adjust them for your path of course

I've customized my CCleaner to clear the 'cache' and 'imgfiles.'
