TheBat and AVG Free version

Hi,

Not a 100% Bat related question but I thought there may be some people who may know of a solution for this problem.

I am running AVG Free version 7 in conjunction with TB version 3. In the AVG e mail setup, there is an option for the virus scanner to include a message indicating that the email had been scanned and found to be virus free. I have tried several times but I can't seem to get this message added to any e-mails I send.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Many thanks,

Fraser

Try to do that with the AVG plug-in for TB. When I'm not mistaken that's automatically installed with AVG7 (it is with the paid version that I'm using) when the setup finds you're using TB.
You can configure the plug-in via the TB menu:
Options -> Preferences -> Protection -> Anti-virus -> Select the plug-in -> Configure...

It's not really usefull to add a notice like that to your messages though. Most current viruses add something like that themselves.

Thanks for the quick response. I'll give that a try.
