Short blue mark and then NOT quoted message

When I try to respond to some emails, the original message does not get quoted correctly. Instead, I can see a single empty line quoted (with the blue ribbon) and then a text which is not quoted.

The effect looks like:


Hi!

...

Well, here's a couple of questions.
What version are you using.
How do you create your reply.
What does your reply template look like.
Does this happen when replying from all accounts, from all folders and to all recipients?
(Your reply template can be set per account, per folder and even per recipient)

A: I have only one account, I generally only replay to emails from the Inbox. This happens only when replaying to some recipients. In most cases the answer looks ok, but I think there is something special in some peoples' email formatting that makes the replays looking bad.

In order to get the original message quoted, your reply template needs the macro %Quotes somewhere in the reply template.
When you want the original message included, but not as quoterd text, then you need the %Text macro.
Your reply template appears to miss both.

TB offers the option to use specific reply templates for contacts, so when it's just a couple of contacts, it's possible that you included a reply template in the properties of the address boof\k entry for those contacts.

The blue line means that it's an HTML formatted reply, probably meaning that the original message was HTML too.
There is no official standard for HTML formatting of e-mail messages, so it would be possible that TB doesn't process some HTML messages as intended due to odd formatting.

Yes, I also %Quotes at the bottom. I forgot to state it in the last post.

Do you thing there is anything special in there? Maybe the fact that there is missing </body> element? (At least TB! shows it so).

It might be the missing </body>, but it also might be the fact that there's a style used without defining what it's  supposed to do. (TB doens't CSS etc very well)
