Problems iwith 5.1.6.2, can I downgrade?, Running slow with 5.1.6.2

I just upgraded from 5.0.12 to 5.1.6.2. I have 485,000 email messages in dozens of folders. After the upgrade, when I visit a folder to read new messages, if it has more than 1000 messages, it takes forever to show them. In the old version, they showed up immediately. In the new one, it can take several minutes.

Is there a way to fix this? If not, can I simply load the old version back over the top of the new to downgrade?

I've got several folders with 10000+ messages and they open just as fast as smaller folders.
It's possible that you need to open such a folder at least once with the new version to get the old speed, it's been a while, so I'm not sure what enhancements were made from 5.0 to 5.1
What account are we talking about IMAP or POP3?

However, the proper way to downgrade is by uninstalling TB and installing the previous version.
As long as you didn't create new accounts or new folders everything should work just fine.
Don't create a backup with TB in order to restore that in the previous version. IIRC There are diffrences in the backups between 5.0 and 5.1

the same happened to me, and finally the program crashes and closed. So I have to restart the app, greets, DAniel
