Should I upgrade from v.3.99.3 ?

I've used The Bat! for years and just love it. I am about to reinstall my operating system (first time in 5 years).

I am very comfortable with my version 3.99.3 of The Bat! but wonder if I should now upgrade to the current v 5.38 ?

Are there significant new features that would make the upgrade worthwhile?  What would be the biggest change/enhancement. I would appreciate any thoughts.

Regards
Chris.

IIRC improvement of imap support would be the most obvious reason to upgrade.
What OS are you running? Win7 or 8 would be a good reason for an upgrade too.

Being able to schedule messages for future sending is also awesome.(You can for example schedule all your Christmas cards now, to go out on December 24th. You may not want to do that, but think of the possibilities)
HTML is not yet great, but it works well.
There is a neat quick reply feature that allows you to highlight some text and quickly reply to it

Thanks Roelof and Rick for your comments - very useful, and I will certainly upgrade. The "quick reply" feature looks good - from the screenshots it takes up a little bit of screen real estate space - is it possible to switch that feature off and on, if more screen space is required?

I am moving from XP to W7 - that was a big decision in itself! Thanks again.

Chris

It is possible to switch off the quick reply option. That's my preferred setting for this option. 8)

Same here. I set an icon to toggle it in case I want to use it somewhere where it is turned off. I only have it on in the TB list folders

Last version also has an option to use Windows HTML Viewer (also used by Microsoft Internet Explorer) instead of The Bat!'s own HTML viewer.
