How to load/import old existing account+mails from Mail directory?

I installed (after crash of WinOS) successfully TB (under 64bit Win7).
Then I wanted to load/import all the old, existing accounts and emails from another computer.

Therefore I changed the Mail directory (resp. working_directory in Registry) in TB and re-started TB.

Much  to my surprise TB does NOT detect any of the existing 5 old accounts and all their emails inside.

Yes, Mail directory is set correctly.

SHIFT+Ctrl+Alt+L does not help. No accounts and emails were found.

How else can I import/load old accounts (settings) and the associated emails?

If you've set the mail directory to the location where your old accounts are to be found, then the next step is to create a new account, give it the same name as oner of your old accounts and TB will recognize those settings.
If you're lucky then TB will recognize all accounts in one time, if not then you'll follow the procedure for all five of them.
