How do I check ALL email accounts?, checking multiple accounts on startup

I would like to have The Bat check ALL of my mail
accounts on startup or configure it so that when I click -once- on the "Get New Mail" button, it checks ALL of my mail accounts, and not just the account currently selected.

Currently, I have to keep clicking the side of the Get New Mail button and then dropping down to select the "Check Mail for All" item from the menu, or hit a key combination, or open the Tools menu and select "Check Mail for ALL". This is all getting to be a PITA! I've looked for a way to have the Bat check mail for ALL accounts on startup but haven't found it. Anyone?

It's easy to let TB check all accounts on startup. In the accunt properties of each account you can tell it to check mail on startup (and if needed periodically afterwards)
You can find that in the menu at:
Account -> Properties -> Options -> Check mail at start-up

Also, it's possible to check for new mail for all accounts by pressing Alt-F2

I already have it set to do that. What I don't find so
easy, is when I manually check my email, I can't simply tell the Bat that I want the main Check Mail icon to
check ALL accounts, and not just the one currently
selected. As I mentioned, in order to manually check
ALL accounts, I have to click on the arrow on the side
of the Check Mail button, and go down to select "All Accounts". I'm trying to avoid having to go that rigamarole in order to check all my accounts at once. I find remembering key combinations even more difficult, so I'd rather not do that either. There are so many configuration settings for The Bat, that I was hoping there was one that I could set to check all email accounts when I click once on the get new mail button.

alt-F2 does it for me.

on the menu, Tools->Check Mail for All
(maybe it should be under Account->Check Mail as well)

Well, for the third time, Alt-F2
**doesn't** do it for me.  It's
simple enough, you hit the
Get Mail button, you get your
email, as you would expect.

I' think I'll go back
to Outlook Express. It's simple,
it doesn't have a million features
poorly laid out and poorly documented
that take you 10 years to master,
and you click on a button, you get
all your email. This should have been
implemented at 1.0, not "we're pencilling
it in for the future" at v. 3.0!
The Bat has a LONGGGG ways to go
before it can compete with OE.

Get mail for all IS Alt+F2. "It doesn't do it for me" simply means you've deliberately configured most of your accounts to "Ignore check all command" when you defined them. Just as you can do in Outlook Express. :!:

Get mail (all accounts) has been a function of TB since waaaaaaaaaay before v1.0 was released.
