Messages not showing in in box or virtual folders

Hi up until the other day messages were showing in my various virtual folders. Then suddenly most of my messages appeared to disappear from my inbox (I am using IMAP) the messages were still on the server.

Some of the messages are now back in the bat inbox though not all. I have about 7500 on the server but only 2,600 in my bat inbox.

And the virtual folders are still mostly empty. I have restarted thebat but that has not helped.

Close the Bat. Go to the data folder and find the account Open it and then open the IMAP folder and delete everything  (OK zip it up to the desktop just in case). You will lose any drafts. THen restart the bat and let us know what happens

Since there is a problem with only one specific folder, I would recommend doing the following:
1. Go to the properties of the inbox folder (Folder>Properties>IMAP specific>Clear cache now)

The Bat! will download messages from the server again.
