Visual indicator of incoming email

In my former email program, a small window would pop up with a list of all the new incoming email.  Also, the folder tree would expand to show which account/folders contained the new messages.

Is there a setting in TB for something similar?  It's very helpful when there are multiple accounts and a complex tree of common folders being used. I know that unread messages are bolded, but I keep a lot of email marked unread, so that's not the best system for me personally. :)  If there's an additional method, please let me know.

Try Options>Mail Ticker>Display Mail Ticker Automatically for notification of new mail.

Not a fan of the ticker, personally, mainly because I have to wait for it to scroll through everything. I use TB in my business, and I have many email accounts to monitor.  So a quick glance at what comes in is most useful to me.

But I found the solution elsewhere in these forums. :)  The answer is a unified Inbox, accomplished by creating a virtual common folder.  I can set it to display all mail from any number of accounts & folders.
