So, I connected three IMAP accounts with The Bat!, is there anyway to turn push notifications on? Or do I need to schedule a check every x minutes even for an IMAP connection?

I figured it out myself.
Account | Properties | IMAP Fine-Tune | Do NOT use IDLE command (on)
