How to confirm security certificate exception

hello , so I had to confirm a security exception when  using the thunderbird email client with my host provider.

I was able to send and receive email messages.

Now with the Bat , I can only recevie but I cannot send.

I either get a time out on port 465 for my SMTP server.

So i am thinking the problem has to do with the confirming the security certificate exception.

Can anyone help me please

I also have ALL my check boxes checked for requiring secure authentication.

I get this error too :

(Recommended)
Username:username@username.com
Password:Use the email account’s password.
Incoming Server:shared-25.ccihosting.com
IMAP Port: 993
POP3 Port: 995
Outgoing Server:shared-25.ccihosting.com
SMTP Port: 465
Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP.

I also get this error :

!5/18/2015, 13:41:59: SEND  - TLS protocol error: Unexpected message SessionUnknownContentType ct (43).


Why does the bat not work , when Thunderbird does ????
