The Bat will no longer start, The Bat will no longer start

I'm using 6.0.12 - I don't need to upgrade as 6.0 is working well for me)

I try to start The bat! and absolutely nothing happens.  I even tried to double click the .exe directly and it will not start.

What could of broken?  Thanks!

I would make sure I have all my temp files cleaned out including imgfiles and the cache folder in the bat's program folder I V7 no longer uses a cache folder so don't be shocked if it is not there.
Then search the mail data base foldr for these
MESSAGES.BC? OR MESSAGES.BK? OR MESSAGES.IB? OR part????.bin OR *.tmp

If all is fairly clear go back to the program folder and try right clicking the bat's exe file and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR

If that doesn't work boot to safe mode and try to run the bat as administrator again. Once you get it loading,everything should be fine after you reboot to your normal mode

If it happens again, check task manager - if it hangs up every launch will create another non working instance

Thanks for your reply.  If I locate any MESSAGES.BC? OR MESSAGES.BK? OR MESSAGES.IB? OR part????.bin OR *.tmp should I delete them?

Can The Bat! be started in safe mode itself?

OK, There are no MESSAGES.BC? OR MESSAGES.BK? OR MESSAGES.IB? OR part????.bin OR *.tmp files in the Program Files folder or in The Bat! documents folder.  It does create an instance in task manager under the Processes tab.

I rebooted and The Bat! started loading again, now 2 days later I'm back to the same thing.  It will not load.  Please assist.  This is frustrating.  I only reboot monthly after MS Updates.
