Can I Save Emails

I have a saved folder for emails that I want to keep. Can I export those emails or even all my emails to a file so that they are safe in case those emails get accidentally deleted.  Can I then just import that file back into The Bat to have all those emails back??
Thanks,
Rand

Hi Rand,

Yes you can save your emails using this tool http://www.bitrecover.com/bat-converter/

It allows you to save your email in various formats, which you can later re-use and view your emails messages in other free email clients too.

Surely, a $49 third-party software can't be the only solution??

I'd like to save messages into a folder outside The Bat as well.  Preferably in a format that I can easily re-import the messages if necessary, or open/import with another email client.

When I hit Ctrl+S on a message, it gives me various options for saving.  What is the most flexible format to use?

Select the emails you want to export and choose "Tools - Export". To import them later on, use "Tools - Import".

Use "mbox" if you want to save all emails in one file.

I like to use "eml", which stores each email in a separate file. I find this structure easier to handle than one large file, but it's my personal preference.
