Change TheBat! Icon [pinned to Taskbar] to another icon

Is it possible to change the icon? Other Windows pinned program icons on the Taskbar can be changed, but when I open TheBat! pinned icon properties, the "change icon" click box is greyed out. Any thoughts?

It can be done in windows easily. If it is currently pinned to the taskbar just go to
C:\Users\rgrun\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar

That is my path and has my account name in it "rgrun\" You have to change that to your account
When that folder opens, right click the bat's icon, choose PROPERTIES and about half way down on the SHORTCUT tab there is a button to change the icon

It will default to one DLL in the windows directory so before you even start, copy the full path to the icon you want (or DLL that has the icon) and change it.

It will not change on the tasbar until you log off then log back int (Restarting Explorer may work too (Just open the task manager, click "Windows explorer", right click and choos "restart (can be done from the menu too

Many thanks, Rick. Unfortunately, the icon in the /Pinned/Taskbar folder also shows "change icon" check-box as grayed out [as is the case for TheBat pinned icon on the taskbar].

I also rebuilt the icon cache, but no luck there with the greyed-out "change icon" check-box.

Any other thoughts??

Solved!

I created a new shortcut from the bat.exe file and presto, "change icon" checkbox was black, enabling me to change the icon. Thanks again for your efforts.
