Slow delete in latest version of The Bat!

Have you run the maintenance center lately? Too many deleted files can cause that
Is it in all folders or just a couple? If not all are they IMAP folders?

On the main menu FOLDER / MAINTENANCE CENTER Run it and see if that helps. If you report back we can do some further things

There is also a folder called "imgfiles" in your mail directory. That is all images that have been downloaded. Cleaning that our is a good idea too although any images used often will download again

With the Bat closed - You can also search your mail directory for
MESSAGES.BC? OR MESSAGES.BK? OR MESSAGES.IB? OR part????.bin OR *.tmp
That is set up to plug into windows explorer.- adjust for other searchers as needed

Some say to be careful doing this but I have never had a problem as the Bat has already taken wheat it needs from the backup and temp files
A cautious man night copy the entire maid directory to the desktop before doing ANYrepairs

This is clearly not intended behavior. How do I get rid of the delay? Thanks
