SSL POP3 Problem!?, anybody help me with SSL POP3 Problem??!!!

hi all,
I'm a new member, nice to meet all of u in this forum :D . I've just started configuring The Bat v3.0 and I have a problem:  :(

The web server in my company use:
outgoing: smtp  regular  port 25
incomming:Security POP3   SSL   port 995.

I can send email now but I have problem when
revieving email with Secure to dedicated port(TLS).
error: "Fetch - TLS hankshake failure. the server ..".

It's ok with OE but I can't see SSL Connection in The Bat, it just has the TLS, also in port 995. I wonder if the 2 connections are different and if the problem is this, and if The Bat provides the SSL connection. every comments are regarded. :)
thankyou.

TLS, put simply, is just another name for SSL.

Code
[I]SSL Version 3, documented in an IETF draft, provides one of the most commonly available security mechanisms on the Internet. SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer, though IETF has renamed it TLS (Transport Layer Security). TLS is documented in RFC 2246 and identifies itself in the protocol version field as SSL 3.1.[/I]

I have SSL enabled on my server and use the "Secure to dedicated port(TLS)" with no problem. It may be that the server you are talking to is using an outdated version of SSL that predates version 3.1 and has some compatibility issues with SSL 3.1 (TLS)

thank you for your consideration. Now I can figure out the problem. So the solution may be that I have to update my server to SSL 3.1. Could you tell me how to do it? :D  thank you, your comment is always appreciated.

This is beyond my personal knowledge right now, not knowing which server software you use or which SSL layer software is in place. Are there support forums for either of those products?
