how set default encoding of sending e-mails?

My default encoding is Windows 1250, I woud like to have ISO standard, 8859-2, but I must change it everyone, when I write new message. How set ISO to be default encoding of my mails - language is polish

From what I was able to find out right here
(I use 1.60 at work - thank god, a bugfree version!)
there isn't much you can do. I guess it's a bit diff.
in the v3.5, but it might be worth a shot.

When you recieve a msg, right click the body of the message, and go to 'character set -> ISO-8859-2'.
Then click 'set as default'.

With a little luck, it will set it as default even
when you send out messages, not just recieve.

Account -> Properties -> Templates -> New message -> Use Character set -> Central European (ISO-8859-2)

it works for me ...

I never used it totally missed that setting ;)
And it was *SO* obvious :)
