Inbox Analyzer

Hello,
I used The Bat! a long time ago, and I would like to use it again.
So I installed the latest version, import my accounts, ...
And I tried to analyse my inbox to create new rules.
But I din't find the "inbox analyzer", I don't have the line in the menu or in the option. Could you tell me how to activate it?
It's very usefull, I have more than 12000 mail so somes rules are very very usefull.

In my v8, it's the 7th entry in the TOOLS menu.
I volunteer as a moderator to help keep the forum tidy. I do not work for Ritlabs SRL.

I use version 9 home edition and cannot locate it anywhere. Not under Tools menu or the Options>Preferences menu.

I'm now in V9 and I don't have in tools or in options at all. I suppose they remove this option or I have a bug in my version.

I sent a support, I hope I will have an (good) answer, because it was a very usefull possibility :)

I received tha answer from support:
We have removed "Inbox Analyzer" in the latest versions of The Bat! and encourage you to create Sorting Office filters (see https://www.ritlabs.com/en/support/help/64/) to distribute mail among folders. We will also remove the information of that feature from the Help topics.

It is very disappointing, with version 9 almost a year old and we're still discovering features that were removed. Not pleased. A lot was missing when it was first released and better information for those of us who pay for licenses is well overdue.

Yes I had V6, and decided to buy V9, but it s the only soft that has less functionality with evolution  :o

What you can't do with filters and can with inbox analyzer?

The analyzer was to do analyze, after this you had a lot of proposition to create automaticaly rules.
You can do the same with filter but manually, so it will take a lot of time.
I used The Bat! because I have a lot of account and mail, with analyzer, I had the possibility to automaticaly sort my mails.
Now I mus do it my self, so it will take more time, to do this, it s easier to do it in gmail for exemple than in the bat!, so I don' t need the bat! any more for this job

Is pressing CTRL+D on your side needs hours of time? (and this you need only if you're not use it your filters automatically). Are you kidding? All that you need is store and not delete your filter rules. That's all.

I have more than 12000 mails from more or less 200 senders for each account , and I have 20 accounts.
So yes click ctrl-d on every (group) mail, will take a lot of time.
(Perhaps I don't use the tools well, or perhaps the tools is not what I'm expecting it was. )
With inbox analyzer, i just start analyze, come back later and accept the proposition of create folder and sort, and it was done.
So yes for me it this feature was a + for the bat!, now I can do the same in gmail interface, so I don't need to do it in the bat, I just use imap client and sort in gmail.

Yes for me when I pay for a soft as the bat!I'm waiting to have more feature and not less, so yes I'm disappointed.

I just upgraded to V9, and the first things i need is not there any more and I saw nothing about this suppression or an other tools to do the same job (analyze and make proposition)

Press this now 20 times and never press again, just set up your filter rules for the future auto-filtering.

Why don't you do this manually and don't do filters that will be works for you automatically? What type of religion stops you using filter rules?
