The Bat window flashes on startup even if it is requested to be minimized

I am trying to configure The Bat to start up without unnecessary distractions. I have configured it to start on user login minimized and without showing a logo by using command line switches /minimize /nologo. The program does not display a splash screen and it minimizes on startup. However, its window displays for a moment and then gets minimized, instead of simply starting up minimized without any screen flashes.

Is this possible to achieve at all?

If you have done this by copying your TheBat shortcut to the startup group, check the properties of that shortcut. There should be a 'run' option that lets you specify the window size and that's where you can set it to 'Minimized'.

Thank you for the quick response, but this doesn't work. When I do as recommended The Bat starts minimized, but the following error message gets displayed:
Code
---------------------------
The Bat!
---------------------------
Could not register tab. Error -2147467259.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
After that The Bat exits.

I think you would do well to report this to the developers using the Support menu above. Please mention your TheBat and Windows version numbers and explain that the error comes up when you use the 'Run: Minimized' option in the Properties of the desktop shortcut. Hopefully they'll be able to reproduce it.
