Excessive CPU usage with 10.5!, Anyone else having this problem after upgrading to 10.5?

After upgrading to 10.5, each time I close TheBat I find an instance of it under "Background Process" when looking in Task Manager.  It has a very high CPU usage and Power Usage.  Each time I close TheBat after that, another such instance is created!  Pretty soon, they are using 100% of my CPU!

I reverted to 10.4 and problem went away.  Just downloaded new v10.5.1 and there it is again.

Anyone else having this problem?

32-bit version of TheBat, Windows 10 Pro (64-bit), 16MB memory.

Maybe the comments in this topic are helpful:

If not, does it also happen when you disable your antimalware (or launch Windows in Safe mode to disable all 3d party stuff that might be interfering) ?

Perhaps you can try running CEF in a single process (Options -> Preferences -> General), or disabling CEF altogether using the /ForceNoCEF command-line option (only available from v10.5.1).

Yes, had/have witnessed the same behaviour here. I contacted support about it, and was asked to try 10.5.1.
I've just done that, but from your note I might see the same results as witnessed in 10.5.0.

Are you showing application error logs in Event Viewer?  Event Viewer/Windows Logs/Application. I get on closing the following.

The above has been sent to support.

With 10.5.1 Task Manager now shows 4 background instances of theBat!, not the dozen or so with 10.5.0. So far I'm not seeing 100% CPU usage.
