Hello,
Has anybody had a problem with opening pdf, doc, docx and xls, xlsx attachments in the 10.x versions of thebat! ?
Once I moved from the 9.x version to 10.x the problem exists at several PC in my company.
Generally, when I double click on the attachment nothing happens for a long time and then finally the attachment opens.
For example in my computer with an older i7 I can wait sometime between 30 seconds - 1 minute.
But on slower computers it can take even 3-5 minutes!!
1. The attachments of the emails are stored in separate folders.
2. Folders are stored at a file server.
3. Using ESET antivirus and firewall.
4. It does not matter if ESET is disable or enable.
5. Enabling or disabling automatic viewing of attachments inside thebat! does not change anything.
6. Additional information is that when I wait for opening the attachment and in the meantime close thebat!, the attachment immediately opens so it looks that it is directly connected with the work of thebat!.
Please let me know if somebody had a similar situation with thebat! and maybe if a solution to the problem was found.
