double spacing

When i write my emails i write them like this

Dear John
Glad to hear from u
Regards etc

But when the persons receives the mail it is displayed with doyble spacing like this

Dear John

Glad to hear from u

Regards

I dont want this double spacing
how to fix this ?

TB isn't supposed to alter the text on sending. So my guess is that you're either using a html editor and your recipient doesn't view html or that you're using some third party tools checking (and altering) your mail.
To make sure what's the cause, change your editor to MicroEd:
options -> preferences -> Viewer/Editor -> Defaulty message text editor: Plain Text (MicroEd)
And see what happens

yeah if i use plain text there is no double spacing but without html editor i cant use color and links and bold etc in my emails. I want to use all these with single spacing. when i use html it makes double spacing. a bug maube?

Might be bug, don't know, I never use HTML.
Does it make a difference whether you do HTML only or HTML and text?

I've done some checking with TB both as sender and as recipient and I can reproduce your problem only when I'm sending HTML only while I view it in (a rendered) text version, when I'm viewing it in HTML it appears as it should.
When I'm sending as HTML+plain text, it shows as intended.
What clients are your contacts using?

It occured in hotmail recipients i tried on another mail and it appeared normally.
but in hotmail recipients it made double spacing when using html

Well, if it only occurs to hotmail, then I'm not really sure TB is to blame.
