V 11 -- do you still have to CLICK on preview to scroll a message?

My computer died and I'm my old backup machine and I had installed 11 when it first came out while my notebook was repaired.

I did NOT upgrade because it would require thousands more clicks to scroll through emails in preview (arthritis).

Did that get fixed by now?

Edit: and if not, how can I upgrade from 8 to 10 on my backup machine?

As far as I understand you just need to enable checkbox in the settings of v11 - Viewer/Editor - use classic preview pane.

At least from v11.3 there is no need to click in order to scroll through a message, both in the conversation view and the classic preview pane.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, should you decide to downgrade to an earlier version you need to uninstall the new version first. Installing an older version over a newer one fill fail and cause problems.

In that case I recommend you skip v11.4.1 as it has some issues with the HTML viewer. v11.4 is perfectly fine, you can find links to the installers here: https://www.batboard.net/thread/16181-the-bat-11-4-christmas-edition/
