Any way to get back to ask for permission prior to starting?

Any way to get back to ask for permission prior to starting?, It takes over ten minutes to get it to stop!

It's driving me crazy. Yesterday, and now again.

No matter how many times I click cancel, backup starts while I'm working on an extremely important email that needs to go out and I can not get it to stop, no matter how many times I click to cancel.

How about a "OK to back up now?" prompt that starts to back up 10 seconds later if "no" isn't clicked?

Have to restart my computer now to continue on my email, it will NOT stop.
