Ran a manual backup (.TBK), don't see in Fire Explorer

The Bat! v12.1, Windows 10 (with ESU). Planning to clean out some old mail accounts and want to keep a copy available.

I ran a backup from Tools > Backup. Went surprisingly fast but did finish cleanly. Destination folder was "C:\Users\Andrew\Documents\Backups (various)"

If I navigate to that folder in File Explorer, I don't see the .TBK (there's a .zip in the attached screen capture, I ran that first).

If I search This PC for .TBK, I get one result, in "C:\Users\Andrew\Documents\Backups (various)" (!)

The screen capture here https://photos.app.goo.gl/UGjidFPanBRFJx4X8 shows both File Explorer windows, showing the difference. I blurred irrelevant stuff, and included Properties on the file that was found by search.

According to properties, the file isn't Hidden. Is there some reason I can't see the .TBK that's clearly there? (as far as I can tell).

Thanks.

The screenshot shows two different paths (seemingly leading to the same subfolder)  and two differently named ZIP and TBK files.

Is that what you intended to show? Did you use the same user account and access rights in both sessions?

If you can reproduce this problem consistently (i.e. it was not a one-time glitch), you may want to report it to the developers.

Yes, same account. I was trying to show that when I navigate to that folder starting at Documents, I only see the .zip (and some other small files). If I search from C:\ for *.TBK, I see the .tbk in the same folder as the .zip

I don't expect to see the .zip in the latter case, but I did expect to see the .tbk next to the .zip when I navigated manually.

Thanks for the pointer, I'll try this again and see what happens.

One folder is named Backups, the other _Backups. Could one of them be a different folder after all, or a junction, or a folder redirected to One Drive or some other special case? When you right-click on them, choose Properties and look at Location, do both folders show exactly the same location in the file system?

(Personally I avoid using virtual folder names, with the exception of "Desktop" for the occasional temporary file. For me, they tend to create more confusion than clarity. I also still long for the simple days of MS-DOS v3.21 at times.. :) )
