Setting up gmail.com account

I am currently having problems setting up and using a new gmail account in The Bat and hope my questions
can be answered.
When I try to filter messages that have been sent to the The Bat after being forwarded from my Gmail account to another working address
in The Bat, I get this error from The Bat:

Access blocked: The Bat!'s request is invalid
You can't sign in because The Bat! sent an invalid request.
You can try again later, or contact the developer about this issue. Learn more about this error.
If you are a developer of The Bat!, see error details.
Error 400: invalid_request

I'm confused because at this stage I'm not trying to sign in anywhere. I'm simply trying to transfer messages in The Bat from one
account to another (the second being a gmail account).
Just for comparison sake, I set up another gmail account nine years ago in The Bat and it has been able to receive e-mails
to its Inbox all this time. However, this account is not able to Send messages. I get an error message saying:
Server reports error. The response is: Request failed; Mailbox unavailable.

Could you please explain what is going on if you can?

To sum up, I have been able to successfully forward mail from a Gmail account to an account (A) in The Bat.
So far I have not been able to filter these mails from account (A) to a newly created Gmail account in The Bat.
What I was trying to do ultimately was have the ability to Reply to this incoming Gmail, inside The Bat, with
a Sent header stating the message was being sent from a Gmail address.

Thanks George I have just sent the developer a message about this.

I think the confusing part here is that The Bat! still has to authenticate with Google when it tries to access the Gmail account, even if you're only moving or filtering a message locally. The Error 400: invalid_request sounds more like an OAuth/configuration issue than anything related to the message itself.[P]For the older Gmail account, receiving mail but being unable to send also points to the SMTP/OAuth settings. Gmail has become much stricter about authentication compared with nine years ago, so an old account configuration can continue receiving through IMAP while sending fails.

I check that the new Gmail account is configured with OAuth 2.0, with Gmail's current IMAP/SMTP server settings, rather than an old password-based setup. Also make sure the From address is actually authorized for that Gmail account. If the ultimate goal is simply to reply from the Gmail address while working in The Bat!, setting up the Gmail account properly and selecting it as the sending identity should be cleaner than trying to forward/filter the messages between accounts.
