Some downloaded messages blank?, OK on the server, 0 KB when fetched...

Hi,

first, I do not know if this is the correct place to post this, but I tried the ticket system and havn't gotten a reply for 3 weeks now and the problem still persists...

When I download messages from my POP3 server, *some* of them are blank. I mean really, blank. No body, from, date, nothing. Size is 0 KB. The strange thing is, when I view them on the server, they seem to be ok and I don't have a problem downloading them with other email clients. This only seems to affect messages which don't get filtered automatically and are placed into the inbox - at least I've yet to see a filtered message which is blank...

I tried everything I could think of, running the repair/clean out/compress options over the infolder several times - without success of course. I'm really stuck here...

I'm on W2K, with TB 3.60.07 HE and international lang. pack (german).

Somebody seen this before?
Anybody some suggestions?

Thanks,

Michael

OK figured it out, finally.

I noticed all messages which showed up as 0 KB after being fetched, originally had attachments. In "Account Settings" -> "Files & Directoies" -> "Save attachments", I changed the default setting "in message itself" to "in seperate directory" (or similar, I run the german version, and really cannot remember the correct english wording...). I did not choose an attachment dir but used the default one instead. When I changed it back to "in message itself", everything was back to normal.

Can anyone confirm this behaviour?

Thanks,

Michael
