Attachments disappear when I forward a mail

Hi

I have The Bat 3.60.07 Professionnal edition under win98 but there is a bug.

When I forward a mail with an attachment, the attachment disappear from the Inbox folder.

The recipient receive the attachment, I can see the attachment on the sent folder but on the inbox folder the attachment size become 0.

FYI, I keep attachments files separetely in a special directory (not in message bodies).

I got this bug recently from my last upgrade I suppose (a few weeks ago).

Any idea?

This bug is still present in 4.0.18.  When I forward emails about half the time the attachments in the original email are deleted or an .eml file is created.  The .eml file is no good to the recipient of most of my emails.

As of now, I have to save attachments in a separate folder on my computer and then re-attach them when I forward a message.

Very time consuming and I would have thought irritating for many users.  

Is there a work around?
