does backup restore the bayes spam database?

Christina Kreitlow Beginner Posts: 6 Points: 3 Rating: 0 Authority: 0 Joined: 17 January 2005	#1 0 15 October 2005 13:08:12 I have spent a lot of time to train the spam plugin , if I do a backup and restore, does it backup the spam filter data as well that is has learned over time? If not what do I have to copy over to restore that manually?

Check in the properties of the spam plug-in where it keeps its data. And copy those files. Another option would be to keep some 500 spam messages in your JUNK folder, when restoring TB it's easy to train the plug-in again with your 500 most recent spam messages and a similar quantity of good messages. __________________________________ I'm just a user of The Bat!
