Looks like they're infected with a virus and your scanner is blocking access.

Disable your virus scanner, delete the infected message, compress your message base, enable your virus scanner again.

Thanks,   finally, with disabling scanner it was idem so I emptied the folder and it was good. It never arrived before, time to time, the bat is low when attached file but never freezed, it was certainly due to the files in question...

Thanks

Hi,

the problem has come back  :-(

This time in my inbox directory, more important, that i can not delete.

Always an english spam with an attached filed, i disabled the antivirus scanner, but the mail is always inaccessible, The Bat freezes, I note also that а this moment, processor is at 100% (crtl alt del, performances, use...) )

I don't know what to do, thanks for your help

I've been having the same problem since this morning.
SPAM in my inbox with an attachment. Click on it, and the message doesn't load, can't see what the attachment is, and it stays as unread.  The Bat! stops responding.

Win XP SP2
The Bat! 3.60.07
NAV 2004

What happens when you try to delete the message?

Well, i can never get that far.  As soon as i click on it the bat! freezes up.  All I can do after that is shut down the program through windows.  When I start the bat! up again its just sitting there, unread, in my inbox, staring at me with some sort of evil disregard.

Can you access the other messages in the inbox?
In that case I suggest that you create another folder, move all other messages to that new folder and close TB.
Then you delete the messages.tbb and messages.tbi file for your inbox and restart TB.
On accessing the inbox TB will find no .tbb and .tbi files and will create them anew.
