Fixes in latest version, Are there more details about the nature of fixes in 3.62?

The list of improvements and fixes in Ver. 3.62 is too cryptic to be helpful. Does anyone know what "Improved Unicode support" means, or which bugs have been fixed? In particular, I notice that a bug I reported a few months ago, about The Bat! not indicating the correct encoding in the header information, was closed last week. Has this been fixed in the latest version? (I can't confirm, since I allowed the trial version to expire while waiting for this problem to be corrected.) If this is the wrong forum to be asking, where can I find out this information?

Point me to the bug-track entry of your bug and I'll give you an answer, but most (all?) solved bug-tack entries have a version number for the bug-fix.
The 3.62 release is 3.62.05

Hi, Roelof,

This is the information I have on the bug. Does that mean it has been fixed?

OK, I've downloaded the latest version and run it on a ten-day trial extension. Unfortunately, the bug still exists as before. I don't know why the ticket was closed.

If I send a message in Japanese, setting the encoding to Japanese (JIS), the message is sent instead with the following header:

Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

As a result, the receiving email client fails in many cases (including The Bat! itself) to display the Japanese message until the encoding is selected manually.

To top it all off, The Bat! performed an access violation upon exit. Not very promising.

I misunderstood.
I thought you submitted a bug to the public bug-track system, but you created a support ticket. Those cannot be publicly accessed and as I'm no Ritlabs employee I can't help you with that.
