I have noticed three very inconvinient problems with supporting russian chars. May be it is due to unicode support.

1) For Reply\Forward russian text for To: From: Sunbject: fields are not displayed correctly in the body as part of previous email header. THe russian letters are substituted by "?"

2) Russian chars are not displayed correctly after adding from templates as footer.

3) In some plases in UI, russian (I beleive this is russian, but not sure, because I don't know original text - it is unreadable) buttons are not displayed correctly.
I have installed IntPack, and UI is russian. By clicking right button on colomns for message list there are options (in russian, below my english translation, may not correspond to original The bat text):
- Columns setup
- Save Mode to...
- Manage View mode
and there is non-readable text within <>.

I am usinf the Bat Professional ver 3.62
