Access passwords

In the help file of TB Pro 3.62, it talks about "access passwords" for specific accounts. However this feature seems to have disappeared from this version because I cannot find the option to lock the accounts while TB is open, and the instructions it provides doesn't work either...

Account / Set Access Password

Is there way to keep TB open all the time to know when new mail arrives, but not be able to view the mail without a password? I know TB worked like this in previous editions, but how does it work now?

I did set a master password that is used to start TB, but that is not what I'm referring to, and doesn't help much in this situation, thanks.

With master password you mean that you installed On The Fly Encryption? I believe that OTFE disables the possibility for a multi user config like you're describing.

At least I can't configure that since I started with OTFE somewhere around v3.02

Yes, that's what I did. Is there any way to revert back to a multiuser config? Because if that means being able to lock each account while TB is open, that's definitely what I need.

Create a full backup with TB
Uninstall TB
Delete the message base (TB's uninstall won't do that) or move it to another location
When you were using TB with the same message base with multiple Windows accounts, delete the TB registry in your other accounts (The full HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-583907252-926492609-682003330-1003\Software\RIT tree)
Now install TB again
When prompted whether to use OTFE go for 'No'
Run TB
When prompted whether to create a new account go for 'have backup'
Close TB (otherwise it won't use the restored resgistry settings)

[I]When you want to use TB with the same messagebase on other Windows accounts, run TB and create new accounts, but select the same mail directory and give the same names to the accounts.
You could also export the RIT tree from the registry of the admin accout and import that in the registry for the other windows accounts

When you're done installing TB, you go for the Network and Admin part of the Options menu. And from there I can't really help you, since it's been quite a while since I played with that.
