When I receive email that has graphics included in the paeg, the block is blank with a red "X" in the upper left corner. What settings control this? How do I set my preferences to show graphics in the email?? Goody
That means that the email doesn't have graphics included. TB doesn't display graphics that are only a URL in the message, these kind of things attribute to TB's reputation as a safe mail client. That has been discussed quite often on this forum.
When you want to see trhe graphics, you've got to open the HTML attachment in your browser.

Will the developers consider adding this as an option? Thunderbird has this feature, and for emails from a trusted source, it's really useful to be able to view the graphics inline, without clicking on each one to view them separately.
Yeah, this has been discussed often in the past, and the consensus seems to be that displaying graphics should be up to the user. Thunderbird, Outlook, Pocomail, Gmail, etc etc, all provide the OPTION to display external graphics on a per message basis (Gmail allows it on a per sender basis also). That TB is incapable of doing so only detracts from its reputation.
