Attachments don't save in a folder

Arggh.. one more post of mine, just started to seriously use the client and got into the troubles instantly...

How to make the bat save the attachments to a folder instead of holding them inside the message? I chose the option to do so, chose the folder, everything seems ok but after the importing wizard finished, the "Attach" folder is still empty and the mailboxes are 200+ MBytes long, which tells me the attached files are there.

Help guys, I don't want the attachments THERE! How can I move the attachments to the folder I already told them to be? Why in hell the option of storing the files does not work? It used to work just a few days ago!

A.

The option only works for newly received messages, not for ones you've aleady downloaded/imported.

Well, it actually works for imported files if you import from .eml's...  The problem is, it does not *always* work... I wonder what happens if i try to move my messages to a different folder - will the attachments stay as separate files in the folder they are now or will  they be moved into moved messages again???

I don't think moving will help, but as my knowledge on this subject is more theoretically and from hearsay than from personal experience you might go ahead and try.
