The Options->S/MIME->Compress data before ecryption check-box keeps get cleared automagically, why? I try to enable it but when I open that frame again - it is disabled still.
I don't know, but it happens here too. What version are you using? (version number, Home/Pro, if Pro then with On The Fly encryption Enabled or not?) But then I don't know whether I've still got any S/MIME certificates stored. Also I've only used S/MIME with the Microsoft CryptoAPI and I don't know if that matters, as only the Internal Implementation supports this option.

OTFE can be enabled when you're doing a clean install from TB. It means that your message base is fully encrypted and can't be read without your password/hardware token.
The developers look into this forum every now and then, but I can't promise you that they read every topic.
You could add your to bug track. When you send me the link to your entry, I'll confirm it.
You can insert bugs in the bugtracker, by logging in to:
Choose 'The Bat' and add a new item. First check whether someone has reported the same bug, then you can add a note to that bug. Bugs that are reported by more users are more likely to get attention than bugs by one. And the system isn't smart enough to understand that bugs might be the same. And add just one bug per entry. Makes everything easier, both for other users who want to add a note and for the developers.
