Forwarding in HTML format

I want to forward an HTML message with its original view to others. Clicking on the Forward button the plain text appears only. All formatting and image information disappears. Is it a configuration issue, or definitive? :|

There are a couple of issues / things going on here. When forwarding a message, encapsulation and quoting come into the equation.

If you default to HTML editor then there is another layer of complexity - that TB! uses its own HTML formatting methods and these are not compatible with most other html message formats and so you won't get the original format presented back to you for further editing.

If you forward the message, the HTML part is added as an attachment. This, in fact, is correct and what you're looking for although it doesn't appear to be in the editor.

If you are going to add much in the way of notes then it all comes a bit unstuck.

An alternate method of forwarding is redirection, where the original message is sent on to a new recipient and even retains the name of the originator.

Finally, there is "Alternate forward". This is MIME forwarding and can be seen regularly in messages forward from AOL users. This may be the best way for you to achieve for a full forward of a formatted message.

Hello guys!

I know a better solution for this issue:

1) Download and install a virtual printer named Universal Document Converter

2) Print your HTML or another formatted or illustrated text to GIF or PNG image

3) Attach ready image file to your letter. Your recipient will see the text in any PC or MAC and with same mode aa you send.

Hope it help
;)

It is also not possible to Copy/Paste in HTML format.
I had to colorize and format the copied text into
original-like state numerous times.

You speak about Account -> Properties -> Templates -> Forward -> "Forward messages as attachments"?

I like this option very much! We did even make it default in 3.0.1 for the newly-created accounts!

Just delete the body of the forwarded message from the text editor input window and leave the forwarded message as an attachment. It will go ahead completely "as is", unchanged an unmodified, right as you've received it. The recipient then may reply to the attached message as if she were the intended received. This is very useful in business communication, when all messages first go to a secretary who dispatches them across the responsible persons.
