"Ghost" file structure

Hi there,

I am experiencing a slightly weird looks of the bat. In the left hand pane I have my account name followed by the slightly intended list of files (Inbox, Outbox, Sent, etc). The weird thing is that below that the same files show again but slightly to the left. Has anyone experienced the same? And how can I get rid of that double structure?

Kind regards
Frank

Just to clarify this I have the same folder structure twice under my account name (ie inbox, outbox, sent, etc and the same folder structure again below that) and when I delete a double folder (such as inbox for example) both inboxes are deleted ...

This is really weird!

Have you got any common folders? (folders not belonging to any account) If not, then close TB and delete the account.flb file in your mail directory (be careful, not the one in your account directory, your account directories are subdirectories of your mail directory)
Open TB and see whether that helped.
When you're running TB pro with an encrypted message base, the file is called account.efb

Just in case of problems you might rename the file in stead of deleting it.

No I have no common folders. I have TB runing on my local machine and all mailfolders/accounts stored on a server in a folder called "mailfolder". Have renamed the account.flb to account.bak but no change (the double folder structure still appears ...). Any further clue?

Kind regards
Frank

Just to clarify, the "mailfolder" directory on the server has subfolders by the account name. And every account folder has subfolders by the name of attach, inbox, outbox, sent, etc.

The funny thing is that I manage three accounts and the problem appears only with one account! The other two accounts display normal ... Can I post a screenshot here? If yes how?

Kind regards
Frank

This is how it looks like!

On the left there are 4 accounts. And under the 1st account there is the duplicate folder structure ...

Now I've seen you're folder structure I'd suggest the following:

Create a new account with the same settings as your corrupt account (address, server, etc)
Copy all messages from your old account to your new account and afterwards delete your old accounts.
Don't forget to copy any existing filters, quick templates, etc.

The reason that I didn't suggest this right away was that I thought you might have an account like mine, with some 150 folders, that makes it a bit messier to copy everything.

I have already done that and the new account I created shows the same weird behaviour. When I created the new account it displayed allright. But once the copy process from the old account to the new account was finished the double folder structure showed up on the new account as it did on the old account ... Also I am not sure if this is the solution as this weird behaviour turned up just when I upgraded to TB ver 3.64.01 With the previous version (3.63) I did not have this problem ...
