Synching Voyager and The Bat! Pro

Hi,

After my other problems with backups and synching seemed to be sorted, I have just noticed a few discrepancies in the total number of emails in some folders.

I would guess that after a succesful synch, both voyager and The Bat would show exactly the same amount of messages in each folder ?

I seem to have one or two short in some folders and one or two over in others.

Surely this is not right as they can't be considered 'synched' if they do not match !? :|

That assumption looks right to me.

When they're not the same you've either been collecting mail during/after the sync or the sync didn't run as it should...

Thats what I thought. Simple and obvious, only it just doesn't seem to work as expected.

I have tried on many occasions and it just keeps adding messages from one to the other and not actually synching the two programs.

One folder nearly doubled in size compared to it's counterpart in the other program as it seemed to synch one-way (if that makes sense). It added from one to the other but not back the other way, so the messages from A moved to B, but not B to A. :cry:

Any thoughts anyone...

Well, I guess I will just have to stop using The Bat! (and recommending it to others) until I can get the synch issues resolved.

I was hoping someone here may be able to help if they have or even have not had similar issues (could it be my setup or settings?).

Until I can get it synching it just makes Voyager pointless and The Bat! is less useful as it is tied to the desktop.

Oh, how I wish I was mobile once again...
